Intake that fills the file
Send a branded questionnaire from the portal. The answers land on the matter and pre-fill Form 80, 956, and 1229, so nobody retypes the client details into a Department form.

See how Matter keeps document requests, uploads, follow-up, and case records together for each migration case.

Your firm name, colours, and logo. Clients upload documents, see what is still outstanding, and read your updates in any browser. No desktop install and no long email threads.
Turn the checklist into one tracked request. Every passport, police check, and sponsor document shows its upload status and due date. Oversized photos convert to upload-ready files on their own.
Matter chases missing documents on a schedule and stops the moment the client uploads. Your team stops writing "just checking in" emails.
Form 80 and Form 956 draft themselves from the data already on the file, and your team reviews the PDF before anything is lodged. Form 1229 and the 482 flows sit in the same forms library.
Bridging visa expiries, lodgement targets, and review points across every active matter, in one calendar. Build a task template once per visa type and every new case runs the same steps.
Every action is recorded with who did it and when, and file notes keep their earlier versions. Documents, case email, and history stay on the matter, ready to retrieve and explain.
Raise an invoice, record a payment, and keep the client payment record on the matter it belongs to. The fee history sits with the case instead of in a separate ledger nobody opens.
You hold passports and police checks for other people. Matter has CASA Tier 3 certification, which means an authorised security lab manually tested the software itself for weaknesses, rather than reviewing a policy document about it.

An inbox is a private queue. When the evidence, the deadlines, and the client's last answer sit in one person's email, cover is guesswork, handover is painful, and an OMARA review means rebuilding the file from memory. Matter gives the case one shared record your whole team can open.

See detailsMatter is built by Neudash founders Ari Surana and Michael Ruflin, who spent 15 years each at Atlassian. Michael was on the original team behind the automation engine in Atlassian's service platform, which is the same idea now chasing your outstanding documents and drafting your forms. They have built software at this scale before.
Matter is the practice system for RMAs in Australia. Your client works in a branded portal and your team works the case, and the two stay in step: what the client uploads lands straight on the file, and whatever your team still needs goes back to the client as a tracked request.
Yes. Matter includes Australian migration form workflows, including Form 80, Form 956, Form 1229, and 482-related flows. For common Department PDFs such as Form 80 and Form 956, Matter drafts the form from data already on the file, and your team reviews the draft before anything is lodged.
Australian migration practices most often weigh up Migration Manager and Officio. Matter is the modern platform to compare against them, combining a branded client portal, document collection, automated follow-up, case records, invoicing, and security that has been independently tested.
Older systems store the case and leave the chasing to you. Your team still emails clients about missing documents, answers status questions by hand, and carries the follow-up in their head. Matter does the chasing itself, and stops the moment the document arrives.
Matter covers the daily case work end to end: intake, client portal, document collection, official forms, case records, invoicing and payment records, and security you can verify. VEVO checking is still on the roadmap. Support staff seats are free and unlimited on every package, so you are not paying per head for the people doing the chasing.
Matter helps keep client documents, notes, communications, and matter history together so records are easier to retrieve and review. Your practice still owns compliance decisions and process discipline; Matter supports the record-keeping workflow.
Yes. Clients log in to a branded portal to upload requested documents, read updates from your team, and see what is still outstanding, without long email threads. Automated reminders follow up on missing documents for you.
Yes. Matter carries a visa file from first intake through evidence collection, Department forms, staff review, and client updates, all the way to the record you keep once the case is closed.

The team behind Matter
Ari Surana and Michael Ruflin founded Neudash in Sydney. Before that they spent their careers building and running systems at enterprise scale, at Atlassian, VMware, BigCommerce, and Nearmap.
Michael spent 15 years at Atlassian, working across Jira Agile, Jira Service Management, and Rovo Agents. He was on the original team that built the automation engine inside Jira Service Management, which is the same kind of self-running automation now at the core of Matter. Ari spent 15 years building machine learning systems and distributed computing platforms, most recently on Atlassian's Gen AI platform.
