Neudash was founded in Sydney by Ari Surana and Michael Ruflin. Both spent years at Atlassian, one of the world's largest software companies, whose tools run the daily work inside hundreds of thousands of businesses. Between them they bring more than 30 years of building automation, distributed systems, and AI products, with earlier work at VMware, BigCommerce, Nearmap, and UTC.
Co-Founder
Ari is a technical leader with 15+ years of experience building large-scale data products, deep learning platforms, and high-performance distributed enterprise software. He has diverse experience building global platforms at UTC, VMware, BigCommerce, Nearmap, and most recently at Atlassian, where he led the technical development of Gen AI technologies and the teams working on products like Rovo.
Co-Founder
Michael holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from EPFL. After early consulting work, he moved to Australia and spent 15 years at Atlassian, working across Jira Agile, Jira Service Management, and Rovo Agents. Jira is the software that hundreds of thousands of companies use to run their teams, projects, and operations, and Jira Service Management is its enterprise service platform. Michael was on the original team that built the automation engine inside that service platform, the same kind of self-running automation now at the core of Matter, before co-founding Neudash.
