A complete practice platform
Matter brings CRM, case management, team tasks, calendars, documents, client communication, letters, agreements, e-signing, and accounting into one system. Every Matter Immigration package includes all Matter features.
The depth is in the connected work. A document request includes a review decision and correction notes. A practice’s existing agreement becomes a reusable branded template. Reviewed case data prepares supported immigration forms. Rate cards and trust accounting sit alongside the practice’s billing and Xero integration.
Built with global enterprise software experience
Matter’s founders bring 40+ years of combined experience building and operating enterprise software at global scale. Experienced Australian registered migration agents contributed to its design from the earliest stages.
Look for the care behind each feature. Staff can reject a document with a clear correction note. Imported agreements preserve the practice’s branding. Case notes retain their history. Independent manual application testing supports Matter’s CASA Tier 3 certification.
A Matter subscriber who switched from LodgeHQ described their experience:
You get what you pay for… this is why switched from LodgeHQ in 15 days and adopted Matter and have not ever looked back. Did not know what I was missing out!

Collect, review, and follow up documents
Clients submit requested files through the branded portal. Staff review each file, accept or reject it with notes, and complete the request or return it for changes. Automated reminders follow up outstanding document requests.
The team can manage tasks, calendars, milestones, client email, and case notes around that work. Note history preserves earlier versions. Backup to customer-owned Google Drive and OneDrive storage gives the practice its own document copy.
Prepare letters, agreements, and forms from case records
Start with Matter’s built-in letter templates or import your existing letters and service agreements. Matter recreates their branding and design and turns them into reusable templates. Fill client and case details, review the result, and send agreements for electronic signature.
Approved case-form values also fill supported ImmiAccount application drafts and common Department PDFs such as Form 80 and Form 956. Staff review the prepared forms and control lodgement.
Manage rates, invoices, and trust accounting
Matter includes rate cards, rate management, billing, invoicing, receipts, client payment records, and client and trust accounting. Manage your trust ledger and connect financial operations with Xero. These features are available in every Matter Immigration package.
Choose the capacity your practice needs
Matter Immigration Starter is A$129/mo for 1 RMA seat, 5 new cases/month, and 10 GB document storage. Standard is A$249/mo for 1 RMA seat, 20 new cases/month, and 100 GB document storage. Both include all features and unlimited support staff seats.
Enterprise is A$699/mo with custom RMA seats, custom case pricing, and unlimited document storage. Every package includes unlimited total cases, contacts, organisations, and leads. The monthly new-case allowance applies to cases opened that month; existing cases do not consume the next month’s allowance.
Check application security evidence
Matter holds CASA Tier 3 certification. An independent authorised lab manually tested the application across all 14 OWASP ASVS categories. Review Matter’s security evidence.
LodgeHQ publishes a CASA Tier 2 assessment based on an automated scan and reviewed questionnaire. Its security page states that it has not commissioned a manual penetration test. Review LodgeHQ’s stated assessment scope.
Compare the work your team will do
Use the same case to assess intake, team tasks, document review, correspondence, e-signing, form preparation, billing, and trust accounting. Check each handoff from the client and staff sides. Review the complete workflow, package inclusions, and security evidence together.
